Lophophora fricii Seeds – Rare Cactus with Pink Flowers

Lophophora fricii is a rare globular cactus species native to the region around Viesca in Coahuila, Mexico. First documented in 1931, this unique cactus is sometimes referred to as Lophophora sp. var. Viesca. While some classify it as a subspecies of Lophophora diffusa, its distinct characteristics support its status as a separate species—especially since fricii does not accept pollen from other Lophophora species.

The cactus is easily recognized by its smooth grey-green skin and vibrant red to deep pink flowers. Though its seeds closely resemble those of other Lophophora species, its flower color and geographic isolation set it apart. It is a prized species among collectors and conservationists alike.

Our freshly harvested Lophophora fricii seeds are collected from our private cultivation facility. Each batch is tested regularly to ensure a minimum 90% germination rate. Due to limited production and seasonal harvesting, availability may vary throughout the year.

We’re a trusted source for rare cactus seeds and botanicals, especially for international buyers who seek authentic, hard-to-find varieties like Lophophora fricii. Our reputation is built on freshness, quality, and ethical sourcing.
